I am British, I am proud to be British and I will be prouder still when we stand alone again as a self determining Nation. We have an opportunity for the first time in over 50 years to again be the beacon of all that is good and right, leaders in the world of nations, if only our politicians can find some real backbone. Presently they all suffer from a lack of moral fibre.
Then we have the LibDems.
Their leader, our current Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg has gone on record in a BBC interview to say that as a nation we are useless and nothing more than pygmies without the EU. This must surely warrant either his resignation or his dismissal.
Saint Vince, the man that believes that Keynsian economics is the way forward for business, innovation and skills has threatened to use his ‘nuclear option’… again. According to Will Hutton in the Observer, after being ignored in Cabinet, Cable was “furious when he learned what had happened. He will speak out aggressively against Cameron’s veto; his decision is whether to resign to do so or say so in office, courting his sacking.”
and to cap it all we have Paddy Ashdown describing MPs who vote against the EU as “bastards”.
Not a democratic bone amongst their collective bodies.
All this while the crazy green loonie Huhne gives away £6bln of your tax money in Durban so that the ‘sinking’ Maldives can build 11 new airports, put Islands up for sale to rich foreigners for the first time in its history and create a plethora of luxury holiday homes for sale. An elaborate shake down described in detail on WUWT.
The LibDems have now provided proof positive that they are not a party of Britain, with Britain’s interests or the interest of her people at heart but simply a bunch of EU subservience opportunists eager and willing to take their blood money, who have worked long and hard to see this country of ours as a mere Province of the EU. The living body of the Judas Class.
Cameron, whatever his reasoning, in finding enough courage to say no once, now needs to do it again and again if he is really looking for that Hero status that the press are pumping him up with, although I doubt he is anywhere near man enough to rise to the occasion.
I have listed before this selection of things Dave needs to do, right now, perhaps its more appropriate in today’s climate than it was last month.
1. Remove ALL LibDems from the Cabinet
2. Replace them with any real Patriot MPs that you can find, if you can find any.
3. Repeal the European Communities Act
4. Shut down any and all EU centric bodies.
5. Remove the ability for local authorities, quangos, RDAs etc to receive instructions from Brussels, and to ban them from participating in the EU committees.
6. Enact legislation to remove ANY civil servant working on EU matters.
7. Stop ALL overseas aid.
8. Immediately cease giving VAT receipts to Brussels, and reduce the overall VAT level to 10%
9. Replace all income tax bands with a flat rate of 10%
10. Replace all corporation tax bands with a flat rate of 15%
11. Remove ALL tax allowances.
12. Disbar and remove all Peers or MPs who are in receipt of an EU pension.
13. With the removal of the ECA, declare all legislation that is tied to it null & void.
14. Remove charitable status to ALL politically motivated or taxpayer funded bodies.
15. Repeal the EHRA and reinstate Common Law courts.
16. Raise the Union Jack over every government building, every day of the year, alongside the England flag, the Saltaire & the NI flag.
17. Leave all supranational bodies.
18. Re-instate the Military Covenant and begin to reinvest in them.
19. Close the borders to all immigration other than clearly defined humanitarian cases.
20. Repatriate any foreign national who breaks our laws immediately upon conviction.
21. Make Government borrowing illegal.
22. All pensions to be free of taxation.
Just to reinforce the self destruct button the LibDems pushed today, …an opinion poll shows UKIP have overtaken the LibDems and have become the third party of those most likely to vote. UKIP are now on 8% nationwide, with the Britain-hating, democracy-scathing LibDems reduced to just 7%. (TalkingClock)

The word Eurosceptic has been hijacked by those who think reform from the inside is possible. Its not.

Ian, I couldn’t agree more. Can I add to your list that all mosques should be summarily be demolished, or be restored to their previous use, which is normally a church.
JiC, not on my list.
The Freedom to worship whichever faith you choose is a long standing tenant of a tolerant and prosperous Britain. I would not advocate anything different.
Ian, does that mean you wouldn’t ban the breeding of vicious or rabid dogs? islam doesn’t bestow equivalence. It takes and gives nothing in return. I don’t see how tolerance of something that is harmful is in anyone’s interests. But of course, I’m willing to be persuaded I’m wrong.
Why do you attempt to conflate the freedom to worship with cultural practices that are alien or harmful to the UK. The two are very different things.
The activity of keeping or breeding of rabid dogs is already covered in law, it takes enforcement of those existing laws rather than accepting a conflated mindset.
Some more ideas:
1. Take the issuance of money out of the hands of the banksters and put it into the hands of the government who can then issue money without interest.
2. Tell the banksters to stuff their casino banking debt where the sun does not shine.
3. Introduce a Glass Steagall type act whereby retail banking is totally separated from other banking.
4. Ban naked short selling.
5. Ban Credit Default Swaps.
6. Tax all ‘casino bank’ transactions.
7. Have public inquiries into where politicians like Blair, Mandelson etc got their money from.
stopcpdotcom, it is far simpler to allow the banks to do exactly as they please, but entirely under their own cognisance. In other words to make them, and their officers entirely liable for their actions and losses, including bankruptcy both personal and corporate. No more socialising of their mistakes, criminal activity or debt.
The trouble with regulation, regulation, regulation is that it will never keep up with the innovative, so for every regulation they will find 10 ways around it. Much simpler to invoke the Common Law, i.e. fraud, for that is essentially what much of modern banking involves.
I do however agree that M0 should be contained only within the Treasury.
Good point, Ian.
You’ve brought a lump to my throat IPJ – great list.
Well said, just need people in position of power with the same principles as yourself and commentators on this site……
NH, appreciate the sentiment, but….
Thank you for the kind link…
…interesting that we’re again running with the same or similar take on the same issue. Must have a pint sometime!
